Smart Access lets tenants control your building's gate from their phone — with GPS verification and a full access log.

What you need - A gate relay or electronic lock connected to an MQTT-capable controller - MQTT broker credentials (from your hardware vendor or self-hosted)

Setup steps 1. Go to Smart Access in the sidebar. 2. Click "Add Configuration." 3. Select your property. 4. Enter MQTT broker URL, username, password, and base topic. 5. Set relay count (1–16) and label each relay (e.g., "Main Gate", "Parking Gate"). 6. Enable the configuration.

How tenants use it Once enabled, tenants see a gate control option in their Homly portal. When they trigger it, their GPS location is verified before the command is sent. If they are not on-site, the command is blocked.

Access log Every command — triggered, blocked, who triggered it — is visible under Smart Access → Activity Log.
