The monthly cycle

1. Dues are generated for each tenant on their billing date — rent plus any electricity share, food bill or other charges.
2. Reminders go out automatically on WhatsApp before and on the due date. You do not send anything manually.
3. Tenants pay by UPI and send a payment screenshot — Homly's AI reads it and asks you to approve in one tap (see "Approve payments from screenshots").
4. Receipts are filed automatically and the tenant's ledger updates in real time.

Always know who has paid

The payments view shows every tenant sorted by status: paid, due, overdue. Each tenant has a complete ledger — every charge, every payment, every adjustment — so month-end reconciliation stops being an evening job.
