Credits are created when a tenant pays more than their outstanding due.

Automatic credit If a tenant pays ₹13,000 against a ₹12,000 due, Homly creates a ₹1,000 credit automatically. It appears in their profile and applies to their next due amount.

Manual credit To issue a credit (e.g., compensation for a maintenance delay): 1. Go to the tenant profile → Credits tab 2. Click "Add Credit" 3. Enter amount and reason 4. Save

The credit applies to their next payment automatically.

Viewing credit balance The tenant's current credit balance is visible on their profile and in their portal.
