Step 1: Enable electricity billing In Property Settings, enable electricity billing. Set the unit rate (₹/kWh) and any fixed charge.

Step 2: Go to Electricity → Add Reading - Select property and room - Enter the current meter reading - Homly calculates units consumed (current minus previous reading) - Review the calculated bill amount

Step 3: Save The electricity bill is added to the tenant's outstanding dues. Their portal shows the breakdown: previous reading, current reading, units, rate, and total.

Bulk entry For properties with many rooms, use Electricity → Bulk Entry to enter all readings for a property at once.
